3E Nano Selected to Present at the 2022 NREL Industry Growth Forum

One of 40 cleantech startups selected globally, 3E Nano will present its ‘ Solar and Energy Control Coatings for a more energy efficient world’ to potential investors and other cleantech industry stakeholder.

Toronto, ON, Canada — March 21, 2022 — 3E Nano is pleased to announce it was selected to present its ‘Solar and Energy Control Coatings for a more energy efficient world’ to investors and industry representatives at the NREL 2022 Industry Growth Forum (IGF), April 13-14, in Denver, Colorado. The U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) hosts the IGF, now in its 27th year. It is one of the nation’s premier events for cleantech entrepreneurs and other industry experts. [Insert company name] earned the presentation spot from a field of more than 150 entrepreneurs following an extensive selection process.

3E Nano produces transparent, solar control and low-E coatings for polymers to improve energy efficiency in windows and lead to the decarbonization of buildings.

“The global building stock is responsible for over 8.6 Gt of GHG primarily due to energy consumption. The use of energy efficiency solutions like 3E Nano offer the opportunity to mitigate more than half of these emissions. The majority of these emissions are caused by low-performance windows, and we see this as a first focus area for easy-to-implement solutions.” Steve Ferrero, CEO

The forum is a one-of-a-kind opportunity in the cleantech space—the premier event for cleantech entrepreneurs, investors, and experts from industry and the public sector to build relationships, showcase innovative technologies, and identify business solutions. NREL facilitates connections between cutting-edge startups, including [insert company name], and motivated investors to drive innovation to market for impact. NREL is the only U.S. federal lab dedicated to renewable energy and energy efficiency research.

“We’re delighted with this year’s slate of presenters,” IGF Program Manager Sheila Ebbitt said. “They represent cleantech startups with high potential and we can’t wait for them to pitch to the investors and other market experts.”

More than 100 investors could hold up to 1,300 meetings during the two-day event.

The most significant decarbonization opportunity lies in improvements in energy efficiency, which result in a reduction in energy consumption in the buildings sector. Specifically, 3E Nano’s technology is intended for use in windows of commercial and residential buildings of all types where interaction of sunlight and heat with a window, skylight, transparent roof structure, façade, or other forms of glazing poses a concern for occupant comfort and energy efficiency.
