Many rail lines rely on some form of glazing-based temperature control, which are often obstructive or inefficient and does little to improve the hot conditions inside and usually limits passenger aesthetic visibility. A forward-thinking solution in this area would not only save fuel costs on temperature control, but promote better views while using public transit.  Such a solution would contribute to addressing the climate change challenge.
