Navid joined 3E Nano in 2018 as a Senior Research Scientist. His focus is on solar control coatings, including advanced materials research, optical modeling and opto-mechanical performance enhancements.

Navid has a PhD in Materials Science and Solid State Chemistry from University of Waterloo. He was an NSERC post-doctoral fellow at the University of California Berkeley working on metal organic frameworks and has over 15 years of research and development experience in various materials research including catalytic conversion of greenhouse gases, dye sensitized solar cells and thermoelectric materials.
